RE: Chapter Twenty-Three – In The Spire

The man who was once Debinani Rahl stood in the top-most
room of the Tower of Tablenhelm and looked upon his
mistress. Her eyes followed him as he paced the length of
the room and settled on him when he came to rest leaning
against the wall.
“Marinetta’s back,” he said.

I KNOW THIS

“She’s helping the Rose. This could complicate matters.”

YOUR WELLBEING DOES NOT CONCERN ME YOU WILL MAKE THE FINAL
SACRIFICE BEFORE THEY DESTROY YOU

“Will I?”

YOU WILL

Lord Spirit nodded.
“That’s terribly convenient, isn’t it? Get the world all to
yourself. You should learn to share.”

The eyes of the goddess darkened.

“Don’t presume to threaten me, I remember you when you were
nothing. I’ll finish what I started those eons ago. But
I’ll be around when it’s done.”

YOUR ARROGANCE WILL BE YOUR UNDOING

Spirit chuckled softly.
“You should hope against hope that it isn’t. You’re freedom
depends on it m’lady.”

RETURN MY RINGS TO ME SO I MAY REBUILD MY ARMIES

“Easier said than done, but I’m working on it.”

YOU ARE NOT TAHL-MEARIS YOU STILL FIGHT YOUR HOST KILL HIM
KILL HIM NOW THE BLOOD OF MENGST MUST BE DESTROYED BEFORE I
MAY WALK FREE DO NOT TOY WITH HIM RINGWIELDER KILL HIM NOW

Debinani Rahl walked up to the throne of Kishara and looked
the goddess in the eye.

“I’m sorry m’lady, Lord Spirit isn’t in at the moment…can
I take a message for you?”

And skies of Tablenhelm darkened.

And the earth shook with The Lady’s rage.

And he smiled.
